AWS/Azure/GCP以外のパブリッククラウドサービスを比較のために調べていた。
Oracle Cloudをざっと眺めていると、Oracle Developer Cloud Serviceについての古い記事で、JenkinsのベースとなったHudsonが使われているとの記述を発見。
そういえばHudsonはどうなってるんだろうと思い、いまだにhttpなサイトを見たら、2020/1/31でWebサイトが閉鎖、Hudsonさんは引退されるとのこと。
引退宣言
Webサイトクローズということで、キャプチャしておく。
Hudson is Retiring
The Hudson-ci.org Website will be closing down on Jan 31 2020. At this point, the update center will no longer be available. You should configure your Hudson instances with the environment optionshudson.model.DownloadService.neverandhudson.model.UpdateCenter.neverboth set totrueto stop the instance from trying to phone home for updates.
Your Hudson instances will of course continue to run, but there will be no further updates to Hudson itself or its plugins.

最終バージョンは3.3.3、更新日は2016/2/15。
Oracle Developer Cloud Serviceの現状
Oracle Developer Cloud Serviceでも、もうHudson使っていないか、Jenkinsに移行しているんだろうと思って調べたが、現在では「Build」という機能になっている模様。
ドキュメントには何を使っているかは記載がなかったが、デモ動画を見るとパイプラインも使えている。
余談
この件、全く話題になっていないのかと、「Hudson Retiring」で検索してみたが、Retiring the 4% Rule | Hudson Financial Groupとか、どこかの会社の偉い人が引退、後任がHudsonさんとかばかり。
まあ、後任のJenkinsさんが有能すぎたということで。
さらに余談
昔はMySQLなどが使用していた分散型バージョン管理システムのBazaar、最終バージョンは3.3.3だが、更新日は2016/2/15と、Hudsonと同じ更新日。
used byのプロジェクト、ソース公開されているものはみんなGitに移行しているのが切ない。
